Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I'm interested in ordering online, is your website secure?
A: Yes! We use 128-bit SSL encryption for the catalog and shopping cart, so your name and address as well as the credit card number you send us is protected.

Q: Where do your parts come from?
A: We sell original Porsche parts from Porsche main dealers or direct from the factory in Stuttgartt, OEM parts from  OEM suppliers like Textar, Monroe, Pagid, Bilstein, Sachs, LUK, Boge & Bosch, and aftermarket parts imported from all over the world, remanufactured parts from leading companies like Lucas, Bosch & Eicher, and specialty parts from small companies from around the world. Everything we sell comes with a full manufacturer warranty.

Q: Can you send me a paper catalog?
A: No, we do not have a paper catalog. All of our available parts are listed in our online catalog which is continually updated.

Q: I can't find a part I'm looking for. Where is it?
A: Please use the "Search" button in the header section, enter a description or the part number of the part you are looking for or our Item # if known. If you still cant find the part drop us a line via the "Enquiries" button.

Q: I want to make sure I get the right part. Do you have photos of the parts?
A: Most of the parts listed in our catalog have photos and/or other descriptive information available. Most of these pictures have been taken from our own stock and not just stolen from other websites like alot of our competitors do! So when you view a picture of a part on our site, that is the part you will receive!

Q: What does the "core charge"  mean?
A: A core is the old part you are replacing. When you buy a re-manufactured part, manufacturers need the core so they can rebuild it and add it to their inventory. The core charge is like a deposit --you pay it when you place the order, but it's refunded if you send back your old part. 

Q: Do you have the part I want in stock?
A: All parts have a delivery time in the description, parts "Available from stock" will be shipped the same day if ordered before 1pm (most orders will still be shipped up to 6pm), parts not held in stock have a delivery time listed as a guide although these times may vary please contact us for an updated delivery time.

Q: How many of each item come in a set of brake pads, struts, brake shoes etc.?
A: Unless the catalog has a note like "pair", "kit", or "set of 3", parts are usually priced individually. Brake Pads and Shoes are sold as sets. Quantity of one is enough for one axle.

Q: What is the warranty on my part?
A: Please visit our GTC page for more information.

Q: Can I have the parts shipped to my mechanic/neighbor/brother-in-law?
A: The bill-to address on your order must match what your credit card company has on file. We can ship to a different address if you wish, though this may add some time to your order while we verify that its okay to ship to the alternate address. Click the "Different Address" button in the shopping cart and enter the a ship-to address.

Q: What payment methods do you offer?
A: We accept Master Card and Visa, Switch, Meastro & Delta as well as Paypal, wire transfers, and cash. We do not offer COD delivery.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: We calculate shipping charges using Royal Mail 1st Class, UPS or Fedex rates. When you add a part to your shopping cart, change a quantity or change your address, the cart automatically recalculates shipping based on the weight and size of your order and your postal (zip) code. As you're building your order, you'll always know the full delivered cost -- before you've entered your credit card number or any other personal information.

Q: What shipping choices do you have? / When should I expect delivery?
A: Shipping options available to your address appear in the "Shipping" drop-down box in the shopping cart after you enter your address

UK Shipments:
We ship 1st Class post for shipments up to 1.2kg, these should be with you in 1 or 2 working days
For heavier shipment (over 1.2kg) we ship UPS Standard which should be with you next working day.
The exceptions to this is if we are shiping to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Offshore Islands such as Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly etc, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands, when we will ship with Standard Parcel Post or Parcel Force, this may take up to 5 days depending on location.

International Shipments:
For orders up to 2kg we ship via Air Mail Post, this normally takes 3 to 7 days depending on location.
For orders over 2kg we ship via UPS, Fedex or Freight Carrier Service, this can take between 3 and 14 days depending on location. If you choose the Express Delivery we ship via UPS Express or Fedex Priority which is between 1 and 3 days depending on location, visit UPS.com or Fedex.com for more info and to track any shipments.

Q: How can I print an order confirmation?
A: You'll get a confirmation email when your order is placed that you can print. You'll also see a confirmation web page which you can print from your browser immediately after placing your order. You will also receive a confirmation email when the parts have been shipped.

Q: I recently returned an item, when will I receive a refund?
A: Refunds typically take up to 5 business days to be issued. Providing us with a invoice number will ensure a faster refund time. Refunds will be issued in the same form as how you paid, (i.e. Credit card payments will receive credit to the same credit card used to place the order, Paypal orders will be refunded via Paypal).
